Kitten Vaccination & Deworming Schedule

Vaccination Schedule

We provide the first vaccination and deworming at 8 weeks (2 months) before the kitten goes to a new home.

After that, we recommend the following schedule:

  • 8 weeks (2 months)
First vaccine (FVRCP – protects against rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia)
  • 12 weeks (3 months)
    Second vaccine (booster)
  • 16 weeks (4 months)
    Third vaccine (final kitten booster)

    • Rabies vaccine

This series is important to build strong and lasting immunity.

After the First Year

  • 1 year after the last kitten vaccine
    Booster vaccination
  • Then:
    • Core vaccines (FVRCP): every 1–3 years
    • Rabies: every 1–3 years (depending on local regulations and vaccine type)

Deworming Schedule

We perform the first deworming at 8 weeks.

After that, we recommend:

  • Until 3 months → every 2 weeks
  • From 3 to 6 months → once a month
  • After 6 months → every 3–6 months (or as needed)

Important Tips

  • Deworming should be done 5–7 days before each vaccination
  • Mild tiredness after vaccination is normal for 1–2 days
  • Avoid stress around vaccination time (no sudden food changes, bathing, or travel)

Our Experience

Based on our experience, following this schedule helps kittens develop strong immunity and stay healthy during their most important growth stage.
